Next up is The Shark Is Broken by Ian Shaw & Joseph Nixon, a real-life fish-out-of-water story directed by JP Artistic Director David R. Jarrott!

Help us celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the original blockbuster, JAWS! Take a deep dive into the making of a movie with feuding co-stars, unpredictable weather, and a prop that doesn’t work more than it does. You'll fall for this one--hook, line and sinker!

Featuring performances from JP Managing Director Will Gibson Douglas (Significant OtherLifespan of a Fact, Pet Dick) along with longtime Austin actors, Bob Beare and Jim Lindsay making their JP debuts.

Our season opens with POTUS (Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive)  by Selina Fillinger!

We guarantee you’ll explode with laughter in this riotous Broadway hit farce about the women in charge of the man in charge of the free world! The all-star all-female cast directed by Karen Jambon includes Suzanne Balling, Jacqui Calloway, Kelsey Mazak, Helen Merino, Amy Morgan Minor, Mimi Strum and Alaithia Velez! And we’ve assembled an all-star female-led production team, too!

We round out our celebratory 10th season with the classic thriller, Dial M For Murder!

Jefferey Hatcher’s wonderfully fresh adaption of one of the most celebrated murder mysteries of all time, features a thorny plot with chills, thrills and fun!

Directed by JP Artistic Director David R. Jarrott and featuring Natalie D. Garcia (Significant Other, The Pact, Deathtrap) along with JP debuts from Devon Ragsdale, Justin Smith, Zachary Gamble and Austin theatre stalwart, Michael Harlan.

If you loved last season’s Deathtrap—and who didn’t—you will definitely want to dial into this one.

Pablo Munoz-Evers chosen as recipient of the Opening Act Initiative in its second year!

Austin playwright Pablo Muñoz-Evers, born in Colombia, is the winner of JP’s second year Opening Act Initiative. His play, There’s No Sand On The Moon, will be presented in a workshop performance next April.

In Pablo’s work, a family of refugees flees a war-torn country, boarding a ship whose captain promises to take them to a new home, a new life. But there’s more to the ship than meets the eye in this magical realism tale about displacement, belonging, sacrifice, and hope.
